Re: Sequential Printing
I realise this topic is a few years old now, but just recently I had to scratch my head over the printer settings myself. Anyway I came across this video that explains how to set your printer up correctly to do sequential printing. I hope it helps someone as it did me! ;-) https://www.youtube.com/wa...

Cura Machine Settings G-Codes
Wow! Its been a good few years since I was last active on the forum, but I've just blown the dust off of my trusty old Hictop and fired it up. Previous to switching my machine on I had installed Cura 4.3.0. But after a hard failure a couple of years ago I lost my Cura G-code settings. So running a t...

Printing Nylon
Just wondered if any Hictop owners have set their printers up to print nylon.
If so what parts if any were required to be fitted to the printer?
Regards
Dave

Re: Resin printers!
I've just purchased the newly released Elegoo Mars 2 Pro. Cant wait to get this machine up and running it has a pretty impressive spec for a budget SLA printer. Next purchase will be the Elegoo wash and cure station.

Re: will rubbing alcohol work for cleaning prints?
I'm in the UK and purchased 10 litres of IPA from Hexeal. You couldn't buy the stuff 4 or 5 months ago, but thankfully its avaliable now and even better the price has come down. Thinking of buying another 10 litres in case there is another spike! ;-) https://hexchemonline.co.uk/collections/isopropyl...

Re: Resin printers!
Great idea, SLA printers have improved so much these past 12 months or so, I am now really tempted to buy one especially as the prices are falling making them very affordable.

Re: Marlin manual Bed leveling Leveling increment tweaking
If its of any use I redesigned an Auto Bed Leveling Sensor Mount. Unlike the 3 part assembly thats on Thingiverse, my one is only a two part and fits the linear bearing housing perfectly.
If I get the time I guess I should upload the files onto Thingiverse as its easy to fit and adjust.

Re: Issues with created supports for overhangs
Here you go: Print Profiles There are 3 profiles I have been using, 2 for fine print with 0.2 and 0.4 nozzle sizes. The other profile I use runs at a faster print time which I use for printing off parts for my printer and prototyping. Obviously maybe not to everyone's choice but they are working wel...

Re: Issues with created supports for overhangs
I encountered a similar problem like your experiencing and I got round it by downloading 'Custom Supports' plugin from Cura market place. With 'Custom Supports' you are able to adjust the size and positions of the support. I'm printing really small detailed parts and use Cura 4.3.0. If you want I ca...

Re: Magnetic bed surface
I've just bought one of these to try out, its quite cheap and can be trimmed down to fit my Hictop heatbed.
Also the adhesive sticker is made by 3M which is good quality.

Toggle Switch has Encountered a Meltdown!
Being made in China I can't say I'm surprised ! Has anyone else had this problem where the on off switch has had a melt down inside its casing? For safety I'm considering fitting a switched relay which would prevent a switch arcing and possibly prevent a fire! Would be appreciated if anyone could po...

Re: Cooling Fan Speed vs Strength
Interesting video. Currently I am viewing as many youtube videos as I can on my quest to produce prints that are nearing SLA quality using a 0.2 nozzle. CHRIST! There is so much crap on Youtube out there, with total morons who talk total shite. Initially the intros to "Tomb of 3D Printed Horror...
