Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

In the early days of developing the titanium for these printers they had a small workshop in a field built like a shoebox so the roof would lift off in an explosion. Several printers and workshops were lost until it was perfected, but that's going back about 15 years now.

If I change material or colour I do an atomic pull always using a white filament and then I have a pull-through, ( I have a length of 1.75mm filament which is long enough to pass through the Bowden tube with 1...

The piece I modelled and printed for the Ferrari 456 has been mentioned in autocar magazine, although typically they don't get their facts right.

Re: Is there an ideal airflow for a part cooling fan?

I only slowly increase the fans over the first 5 to 10 mm and due to the geometry of my design of fan ducts I can't remember the last time I needed to go above 50% as they really push it out. But for adhersion I usually use Hairspray although recently I've been trying PrintaFix which is working real...

Re: Annoying Spool Squeak!

I use Robet's one with, the long version to take 1kg spools, it is great, reducing friction to the feeder.
I use my dovetail system so I have a modified mount.

Re: Block v3 or Olsson Block

Hi Stu, what flexible filament are you using? Also do you have a good 200um profile, and what slicer do you use?

Re: Heater block replacement time?

I need to adjust my I2K insulator, just open out the bore a bit as I get a small bulge on the end of the filament at the final retraction that won't re-enter on the next print.
I adjust my previous one and it solved the problem.
