Afaik the only difference is that it has a slightly different design so it works with the I2K. But better ask @@gr5

Two years ago I never ever did any 3D but because I wanted a magnetic head changer I made my own version. Just get ready to tost a few kilos of material on test and enjoy the experience.

I2K only advantage is to use 300C temperature.
TFM last already a good 2000h at pla temps. So far one of mine is around 3800ish

There are lots of info about the i2k on this forum and on the other. Worst case email gr5 IMO I2K is pretty much a pain in the ass. And specially with the TFM more smooth plastic compression it's a bit hard to tune without much patience. You will get leaks, you will get brown color contamination, an...

Indeed I found the chips, labern dig deepeyand found that all the aliexpress seller key i fo comes from that guy development.
One could blame the china seller, but also the guy that found it never did anything with it. And for 8€ is a nice improvement for the umo/um2/um3 stepper chips

UM steppers (umo+, um2, um3) have a decay issue that makes that error (better explained on the forum link). This TL-Smooth fix it for just 8€. Ofc this tl-Smooth is a china creation from a guy post without his consent, but on the good side they work and they are cheap. Anyhow this requires more time...
