@LePaul and @Neotko
Cheers Neotko, using a shield around the component helped with the printing of the 3DBenchy funnel at 35% with the 0.15 nozzle

Nice print, should have a cavity hole in it for a pen holder.

Smaller nozzles
I've been testing the smaller nozzles and have just finished my latest Braq dragon. IMG_1177.JPG The one at the back is the full size one printed with a 0.4mm nozzle in Faberdashery 'BlingBlingGold' The cream one is printed at 50% with a 0.25mm nozzle in Faberdashery 'Glowbug yellow'. And at the fro...

Re: Support Advanced settings
I have a battery powered soldering iron but the modify3d is slimmer and more like a pen, I find it easier to hold and manipulate.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
Joy, I used a hot air gun with variable temperature to clear my 0.1mm Nozzle with the help or a 0.1mm drill, and then an out of machine atomic pull. All nice and clean again, once I have finished printing my 35% Draco prints it will be back to the 0.1mm for some test pieces, but starting with a plai...

I though the same as Medusa, that Paul had dodgy house wireing.

Re: Any experience with eSUN Cleaning Filament?
I just pull the Bowden tube out of the print head end, I then insert a short length of Bowden tube ( about 70mm) so that I can just push the filament through to do the atomic pull.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
On a brighter side we have just ordered another printer,
We have ordered a ONO printer, as they are now availabe in the EU on their online store,
http://www.ono3d.net/
I got in quick to get the free protective bag too.
Paul is going to have to create another area for the ONO printer

Re: Any experience with eSUN Cleaning Filament?
If it's like some of the other "cleaning filaments" you just run it through the hot end at temperature either manually or driving the feeder, or you do the atomic pull. It tends to collect any contamination and take it out. I have done the same by atomic pulls with Nylon which works fine t...

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
Hi all, we (Susie and me) have had a bit of a traumatic week this past week.
Unfortunately on Monday mid-day Sues father had a massive stroke from which the doctors said there was no possible recovery and he passed away on Wednesday morning.

Re: Anyone tried Proto-Pasta HTPLA Carbon Fibre V2.0?
I have found with CF that although you can print at the lower end of the print range like a lot of materials they can lack interlayer bonding. It's finding the sweet spot where you get the interlayer bonding, which is towards the upper end of the range, I'd try the upper end and see what that is lik...
