Yes a lot of Dredd influence
With the Brass / Bronzefill, they'll probably be more heavy, but it would also be more labor intensive to get the same look,
and more expensive
I love to paint objects, especially scaled objects

Re: UMO Direct pancake drive
Funny , I was thinking about the old forum posting about direct feeder

and how much total height would you lose with the extra height of the printhead ?

Re: Modified UM original
- I changed the feed at an angle so it is better accessible from the side. - The alum cross sections really helped with vibrations, the acrylic is still too flexible at that height. - the rubbers were cut by hand, and some sharpened brass pipes to cut the holes, they really cut the high pitch noise ...

They are hand size, and comparable to police badges, the finishing was pretty easy, just sanding, and a lot of primer/filler, the colors were done with Humbrol paint, and lot a drybrushing, and highlighting. the chrome version was just a lot (too much) filler primer, and fat layer of chrome spray pa...

I have a heavily modified UM original, and was wondering, is it ok to post in the standard UM original page,
or would it be an idea to have a separate place for (heavily) modified UM's ?

Show off My latest Print
Wow, am I the first to kick this off 8-) I must say I rather like the way we post our latest print in one big forum post, instead of everybody doing his own subject posting, this gives a fun overview, and is more easy to discuss and commend ones work :) so Here I go... This is part of an ongoing pro...
