Someone posted that on the Ultimaker forum last month. Apple sells them there but not in the USA, from what I could tell.

Cost isn't something I fret about if the item is of excellent quality, such as those fans. I learned my lesson years ago about buying cheap stuff from Asia. I just don't do it anymore. Some people like that additional hassle or have good luck. My spare time is precious to me, so I hate wasting it :)...

Used Carbon because it works :D and it doesn't curve but compress on itself. The model fans are on the youmagine text and photos. They are empast 414H 24V On youmagine there are also fancaps for 30, 40 and 50mm fans. Also with the basic structure you could design any other fancap with just changing...

Good read....couple questions...

Which fans? Make? Model? Yours has two wires...mine has a mess of wires :)

Any reason for CarbonFil over ColorFabb's Carbon Fiber filament? Or just what you had?

Well the first is Verne Troyer from the Austin Powers films dr-evil-mini-me-1940x900_35484.jpg 2ft 7 inches tall ! Very, very funny guy! We had a great 45 minute chat. He wanted to do a YouTube video with R2-D2. In exchange he'd do a photo with R2 and I (the celebs charge $40-$50 for an autograph/ph...

Looks like we had an attempt today. Someone reported it and I quickly checked into it.

I also rotated the new user anti spam question too. Bots are a bit easier to defend, human ones are just a hassle.
