It appears that Cura 5 won't run on Windows 7, it needs something loaded that's only available in Windows 10 and later.
I have no desire to upgrade to Windows 10 as everything else is working fine.
I'm hoping the problem will get fixed in a later version of Cura.

Re: 0.6mm Nozzle
I still can't get Cura 5 to work, just tried 5.1.0 and still won't load. I use Prusa for resin prints but I don't want to go through the learning curve again for FDM printing as I'm so used to Cura. I'd like to try a 0.6mm nozzle as I do some large prints using filament and for smaller prints I use ...

Something a bit different for me, Frog trophies.
Hi all I thought I would share my latest prints, Frog Trophies for our local fiesta. A group of young lads have got together to form a club to enter in the local parade this year, I know the guy who is "El presedente" of the club. He asked if I would make some trophies that would be presen...

Re: Pause a print in Cura
Well I didn't need to alter the code. I uploaded the new firmware and it all worked.
It had the original firmware and because the printer worked OK I never saw the need to update it.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Pause a print in Cura
Well the script works, well sort of, it only pauses for 2-3 seconds, then resumes automatically.
Is there any way to make the pause longer by putting in some g code?
I think the problem is the printer it's a JGAurora 5s and other people have had this problem.
Any thoughts.
Thanks

Re: Thank you for having me
Welcome to the forum. I live in southern Spain and leave my prints out a couple of hours. I have left prints out for days to see if they would give the prints problem but they seems to be OK. For small parts I put them in a jar of water before putting in the sunlight. I have never tried the water cl...

Re: Pause a print in Cura
Thanks Paul
I have looked at 4.11 & 4.13 and neither have an option to change filament, or any other way of pausing the printer.
I guess I'll have to think of something else.

Re: Pause a print in Cura
Well, Cura 5 won't run on my PC I get an error api-win-core-path-1-1-0.dll is missing.
I've tried to fix it but no joy.
Is it possible to pause version 4.11?
