Yep, good catch...
With the overrun you could have any pin blacklisted at random.
(Interesting BTW, that the FAN_PIN is in the blacklist array, while M42 handle the fan case )
I'll push that at the earliest opportunity

Re: UMO / UMO+ Firmware
Yep, the reason why I am looking at a proximity sensor is to keep the full height.
And for the UMO the Z stage is incredibly slow, so it would be a pain to home at the bottom....

Re: UMO / UMO+ Firmware
I understand. On UM2, the homing is done at the bottom, while on the UMO it is at the top, so you must go up to the top to home Z. The head does not have to be on (0,0) in the (x,y) plane, but it needs to go to the top. Although we could home at the bottom from a firmware perspective, On the genuine...

Re: UMO / UMO+ Firmware
I have never seen what the UM2 does...
But the UMO just do what is defined in the 'Startup GCode' script, so you can put there whatever you (don't) want.

Interesting remark, I had the impression it was less brittle than PLA...Izzy wrote:Don't force nGen, it's not as 'plastic' as PLA.

Re: Cura 2.3.1
Rant of the day... Working on a new project, so I decided to upgrade from 2.3.0 to 2.3.1 before slicing. Cura didn't want to start, so I started in console mode and saw a python stacktrace apparently due to some customization I did (I have my own machine definition). So I removed that machine and it...

Re: Help with a lifting brim, please!
I print on blue tape with my UMO (no heated bed). PLA will stick perfectly, however the first layer is more delicate than with heated bed/glass plate: Bed leveling must be perfect Bed height must be well calibrated as well, so that first layer adheres well on the tape I usually print the first layer...

Re: 2.3 beta
There are pros and cons about saving changes... It really depends on what your view angle is. When I load a profile I expect to get back the exact same settings I had when I saved it, which is not the case if you only save changes and the 'base' has changed in the meantime... I can see the value of ...

Re: 2.3 no more beta
Re-installing windows also often helps... I also decided to go for 2.3... I Installed the 2.3 Beta some time ago, but never used it -- I went back on the old legacy Cura as I just had things to print and didn't want to explore ;) It seems that Ultimaker eventually decided to sign Cura on Mac a...

It's not about luck, it's about planning
You need to align the pulley when you install the belts...
(At least on one side, on the opposite site it is less important as it will automatically follow the first side)
