Re: UMO @24V - what needs to be changed?
Thats the way, aha, aha, i like it.... Aha, Aha... :-) Thanks :-) I earned that most heater cartridges are 6mm x 20mm so a bit different than the ones for the UMO block, but I guess that's not a big deal. All stuff on order - 24V 120W PSU, 24V 40W cartridges, a few extra stuff like k-type sensors an...

UMO @24V - what needs to be changed?
hi! currently playing around withthe idea to mount UM3 core at my dual UMO. Same as UM2, they have a 24v heater and as far as I know it is possible to exchange the LM7812 by a RECOM R-78C12 DC-DC switching regulator. BUT: what else needs to be modified...? PID settings? stepper settings (I already c...

Re: does anyone want to know stuff about the UM3?
my company decided to order an UM3. Will see the results soon, and hope that I gave them the right recommendation...
Further I gave them the advice to add a set of cores to their purchase so that best case I can get my fingers on one to take a detailed look (and do some emasurements)...

Re: Ultimaker Brand PLA
I have a roll of white UM PLA laying around and honestly never checked the temperatures it in detail. but as you come up with it, I remember that I usually print colorfab PLA/PHA with around 208° and for UM Pla I had to go up at least to 215°... But I thought that the age of the stuff might be a rea...

Re: Ruby Nozzles, Wanted in Europe
Interest, yes, but I´m currently thinking of redesign my head completely - maybe upgrade with core's so I don´t know if it is efficient :-) Another idea: I have a few colleagues in US which travel home for chrismas (oh yes, cris rea is in my ears...) so maybe we could skip shipping cost by a using a...
