The object you posted if 4.5mm and 1/8 of a ball with 3 pins.
I have never tried to print something quite that small.

Re: don't succeed to have my model printed
I would ask for more information. What model are you trying to print. What material are you printing. (PLA, ABS ect......) What material are you printing on. (Glass, Aluminum, LokBuild, BuildTak ect..... ) What Temperature is the nozzle. What Temperature is the bed. What is the layer thickness. Post...

Hotend Heat Blocks
I have noticed that there are two styles of heat blocks. horizontal Image1.jpg vertical Image2.jpg The first is the one I am currently using. It has a 10mm heat to throat. The second one has a 20mm heat to throat. This give the filament twice the time to heat before leaving the nozzle. Is there any ...

Re: Hictop EFI Problems
OK. This sounds like a fun experiment. This will be a easy test to duplicate. I have since moved the display to the front of the machine, and covered the LCD ribbon cables with aluminum foil duct tape. To Help Control the EFI that is interfering with the 3D Printer controller. The Twins 2018-2.JPG I...

LOL...thanks. For what its worth mentally I'm probably more active now than I have ever been. Back in 1971 when I started as an apprentice tool maker, we never had all this amazing technology that there is around today, I feel like a kid in a toy shop so to speak! :-D Having said that I still enjoy...

Re: creality CR 10 different types/software?
On my older 3DP-17, I blew the main board. They sent me a replacement, no questions asked (I bought a replacement off Amazon though because the replacement took 6 weeks to get through customs). I noticed when I first started using my 3D Printers from Hictop that the mosfets were in my opinion too h...

Re: Last movement touches the print
You can add a line in the End G-Code to raise the nozzle a little so as not to touch the model when moving to home position. Sample from My 3D Printer END G-Code M104 S0 ;extruder heater off M140 S0 ;heated bed heater off (if you have it) G91 ;relative mode G1 Z+0.5 E-2 F{travel_speed} ;raise Z abov...

Re: how to reset printer to factory settings
I believe there is a Initialize EEProm In the Menus.
Best Way is to send a M502 followed by M500 See Below.
M502 reverts to the default "factory settings". You still need to store them in EEPROM afterwards if you want to.
M500 stores paramters in EEPROM

Re: x belt damaged by metal guider
I do not know exactly how the belt alignment on the CR-10 works exactly. I was having many problems with my 3DP11/3DP12 Hictops the belt would wonder first right then left but would never run true. Now I replaced the bearing with a pair of bearings with a flange this keep the belt running between th...
