Re: Invite people!
The issue seems to be related to the upstream DNS server of my provider Deutsche Telekom. From time to time, the name resolver in my DSL router seems to be unable to resolve the forum name via the DNS servers that I get from the DSL provider. This seems to be also intermittent.

Re: Making PCBs with the Ultimaker 2?
We did this in high school. If you have to etch it anyway, why not go toner transfer method. Easy, fast etc :D I have never dared to use the toner transfer method since it is so dependent on the type of paper you use. It seemed to be an art by itself to find the right paper that holds the toner jus...

Making PCBs with the Ultimaker 2?
Hi all, I recently found this video on Youtube that shows how to create PCBs in a fairly simple way using a 3D Printer and permanent marker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNh0ubRcTYU I was wondering now if this couldn't be done even easier with my Ultimaker 2 by just screwing in a steel nozzle in ...

Re: Invite people!
I still see DNS issues from time to time - especially in the morning. Yesterday and today. Is this a known issue?

Re: SSL for the Forum
It is actually not that much I would assume. The site IS already available via SSL, it just presents the wrong certificate. If you have a Linux vServer, then installing one e.g. via the Lets Encrypt shell script (https://github.com/lukas2511/letsencrypt.sh) shouldn't be a big issue. I will sent you ...

SSL for the Forum
Hi, instead of trying a useless test post, I thought I use my first post to suggest adding a proper SSL certificate to the forum to make it also available via https. :-) I do not know what server is used to host the forum, but if you need help setting this up, I am willing to help. Best regards, Rei...
