Drying your humid filaments....
Giving this a go. My new roll of Nylon, which has barely been used and its on a ziplock bag with 2 desiccant packets, already sucked a lot of moisture. I can see it bubble and fizzle as it prints... So i am using this trick to dry it over night. Lets see how it works..... All the items i already had...

i had this experience when trying to print with carbon fiber filament
i found the carbon fiber was getting too soft on my heatbreak.... sounds like you may have heat creeping...
i now am using a 50mm radial blower as my fan for my heat break and its perfect now.

when i built my hypercube, i wanted a board like the hictop one... 24V, all in one... So i got the OSOYOO MKS Gen v1.5 off amazon for like $38.... been working great for me and i have over 350 hrs of print time so far...

hictop once gave me a hex file when i installed the auto bed leveling sensor... it was junk, i will never use one of their files again. i compile my own Marlin now every time they have an update. Just today i updated to 1.1.4 i think u should flash your own... theres about 20-30 fields you an change...

from what i have read online, its a design standard using a triangle arrangement to have the x carriage not wiggle.
this helps keep the carriage straight and not wobble and also not have any of the bearings act as a brake to the others

i got Marlin 1.1.1 for the Hictop also working great
in case anyone needs it... same settings as above's RC8... just moved over to latest 1.1.1

give it a shot for sure, when u use the leadscrew calculator online, you can validate...just make sure it does say the 8mm pitch our leadscrews have

the stock location for their sensor on the back of the carriage is garbage... i hated it what good is it to read the bed location 70mm away from the actual nozzle, when the bed is bowed.... so yea i made my own carriage, and now i am 30mm on the Z from the nozzle... i get now a 12point bed level pri...

sounds like you need a whole new fresh firmware flashed on that board.
the bed not reading can be as simple as the wrong thermistor being defined on the firmware...

i made my calculations and came to the number of 400 and my prints are perfectly beautiful on Z
i have 8mm leadscrews with 4start 2mm pitch which is 8mm travel per rotation....
