Re: Adjustable belt tension UM2 sliding blocks

Great Work!!!
So sum up: work for UMO with an adapter - also for MX belts - right?
If so, will change to it as soon as modify my head to the UM2 style... :-)

Yes, M2.5 are very tiny but I would prefer any screwed version to a just snapped one.

Oh, not much work - just the latest cura and a bit of tweaking the head, but it´s worth...
Next: 24V mod so complete disassambly of the head and restart (as soon I have time).

Conclusion: second extruder is worth the money I spend for it... can recommend it to every machine...

Re: Filament joiner

:-) yessss, but that´s probably because I got it new and had to learn on it. I learned that 0,4mm cutting dept (Zustellung meine ich) is possible, but with 0,5mm it starts making strange noises... and I milled down the angled shape this way instead of using the saw and mill the last 2mm... But that´...

Re: Filament joiner

Re: Filament joiner

I took this one as example: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:281792 and bought the temperature controller at ebay. If you take this one in 24V instead of 12V (http://www.ebay.at/itm/WH7016J-24V-Digital-Temperature-Temp-Controller-Thermostat-Sensor-30-300-/201618098578?hash=item2ef1600992:g:1EcAAOSwO...

Re: Filament joiner

Tested... it works... A bit of trial&error is necessary, the first few joints made a huge mess, but finally I managed to join my samples color by color sucessfully in no time. As expected, cleaning/trimming the joint needs to be done as usually, but as the joint is much better than made with a l...
