Re: Show off My latest Print
Very nice work. Does he help you heating up the print bed by spitting fire on it?

Re: The poor UMO
As for their forum, well, that's why we are here :) That might be true for you, it's not the reason why I'm here. The only thing I can say is that I've met quite a number of Ultimaker people in person since about one year ago and I can assure you that those people are very open-minded and listening...

Re: The poor UMO
Putting the UMO assembly manual into the app the same way the other manuals are prepared (and if you do a proper work, you do it the same way - everything else is a hack) would mean addition effort on something nobody can buy anymore. Doesn't sound very reasonable to me. I think bashing Ultimaker fo...

Re: The poor UMO
Hm - I guess they just want content in their app which reflects the currently sold machines. That's common sense too, isn't it?

Re: Simplify3d basic guide
You can also set retraction speed to 35*60=2100 I think. At least my UMO can manage it.

Re: Ultimaker just released a bunch of materials!
Ultimaker Nylon is much less humudity sensitive than other Nylons.

Re: Ultimaker just released a bunch of materials!
Yes, but forget PC on an UMO+. Those new materials are designed for the UM2+. Even an UM2 without the TFM would have a problem.

Re: Cura 2.1.3 is out
Rumours have it that there will be a 'LePaul' edition of Cura 2.2 where everything is automatically scaled to 99% but shown as 100%...nallath wrote:It's not altered in that build. It's fixed for 2.2

Re: Company Update Aug 16
Advanced 3D printing kit: A bit expensive as usual but it includes two TFM and two nozzles. A bit more surprising to me is the discontinuation of the Ulticontroller kit and the HBK. I would have expected a 'last call' as for the UMO. However, the communication is a bit poor (no tweet, no forum entry...

Why don't you guys submit an issue on Github? Might lead faster to a new default setting than just being angry about the accident...
btw: I agree that default should be autoscale off.

Re: Improved packaging from Colorfabb
Where there's a will there's a way... I used a plastic box for cereals for PVA when I printed it on my UMO. I put some desiccant bags into the box and made a hole into the cap. From there to the feeder I taped a plastic bag and put also a desiccant bag into it. The UMO feeder was strong enough to pu...
