Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

it is standing in the hallway, so lots of draft... Bed is set at 70 degrees. The nozzle is 3mm, that makes the plastic lines adhere very well. They told me that a model made with a solid bottom was very hard to remove. My model was just a spiralize fast model and did adhere well.

Re: Why the UMO has fans on electronics?

last week I replaced my 1.5.4 board for a 1.5.7 board and the fan sounds different, more powerful... With the old board the fan would make a lot of noise first and then stabilize with less noise, I had to feel underneath to check if the fan was running. Now I can hear a stable hum from the fan.

Re: Super hard nozzles - Test pilots

Finally had time to mount the ruby nozzle to my UM2Go, because I am using my UMO's with a 0.8 nozzle for bigger prints these days. And there is a noticeable difference! Printing in rPET the material is much more translucent compared to the brass nozzle and I could print cooler..... Because of the ma...

so this means that if you give your machine a very short name, it generates a 'short' prefix. This is a one time handeling and you loose 2 spaces (1 letter and a _)

Re: nGen Review

The base is PET and 'something' is added to make it easier to print, I guess (not being a chemist..)
The Refil Pet states: 90% recycled PET
100% PET has a higher melting point: 254 degrees
PETGs (or copolyesters) are glycol modified PETs used for injection molding etc.
