Re: V1 Engineering's Piper
Its been awhile and have not been working on my MPCNC or even my 3D Printers much at all. Though as the daylight increases plan to start having more time to finish the extruder part of my newest MPCNC. Next step is to add the two additional stepper drivers to allow me to swap between router, laser a...

Re: slicing under a angle for normal printers
Someone will most likely have some better information for you.
Blackbelt Cura Source code is available
Though I see you can change the Gantry degree angle.

Re: slicing under a angle for normal printers
Did some research and found some information listed below. How to slice on a Conveyor Belt 3D Printer Use any slicer and Tilted Conveyor FDM Printer Post Processor 4.3.Software in link below. https://web.wpi.edu/Pubs/E-project/Available/E-project-042618-115617/unrestricted/ConveyorBelt3DPrinterSubmi...

Re: OctoPi produces weak prints
When starting a Print with 32-50% to get good bed adhesion. Then increase the speed too. Normal print speeds from 70-100 percent in Cura = 8.0mm^3 per second to 11.0mm^3 per second. When printing from the SD card have no problems maintaining these speeds, making great models. When using Octolapse st...

Re: OctoPi produces weak prints
Yes, know of this option. Though really like using OctoLapse.
Was even thinking about getting a new Raspberry 4 to see if the more powerful Pi 4 would correct for this.

Re: Firmware and software
First thing I am going to do is upgrade to Marlin from Hictops nasty firmware that does not save settings! So you recommend 2.0 or 1.1.9bf? I found Roberts great work and posts very helpful, but I only understand enough to know I dont understand anything yet, but I want to start on the ”right” trac...

Re: Firmware and software
So you recommend 2.0 or 1.1.9bf? Choose either they are both pretty equal. I want to use the new multi-point bed leveling. As per G28. As I understood it the Z height will then adjust when traveling in X/Y directions If the bed is uneven? Babystepping which I guess is a way to fine-tune the z-offse...

Re: Begginer
It could be an intermittent solder connection on the end-stop switches.
This can be tested using an continuity tester or by sending M119.
My 3DP11/12 had several broken solder connections under the shrink tubing on the end-stop switches.
Touched up solder connection no more problem.

Re: Newbie question connecting cr-20 pro
What version of Cura are you using.
Creality Printers use a FTDI F232R USB to Serial adapter chip.
Installing the correct Drivers is essential for windows to recognize the 3D Printer.

Re: infill visible in final print?
I am trying to grasp the bottom image as it has bumps all over the surface.
Do these bumps coincide with the fuzzes or the tree supports.
