Re: 3D printing community rallies against eBay store

Hmm... There are a few considerations about this: let us remember the story of the success of the first iPod. the issue is not the cost of the device and its accessories, but that was a model for the sales GUARANTEE payments to the owners of IP. But in the case of 3D printing DRM protection does not...

Re: Super hard nozzles - Test pilots

With that it could be posible to run calibration according to each temp/speed and generate profiles for the esteps on each case. I would love an encoder actually controlling the real amount of filament move. {offtop on} It can count a filament on a roll, and make some warnings if he close to end? {...

Re: Feedback...how's it look?

Lol, do we have an idiots guide to the various icons that are used? I'm trying to understand what some of them refer to and the changes. A confused/needs more coffee Izzy :-? Agreed. Something like this will be a good addition to forum: https://www.bogleheads.org/w/images/9/97/PhpBB_icon_descriptio...

Re: Laser Engraving with UM2!!!

No worries!
When you live here all my life, it doesn't seem particularly interesting. Although Yes, my city could not be mapped by a security reasons until, approximately, to 1978.

With so many King's novels that I read in my youth, the Maine seems no less amazing place on this planet.

Re: Laser Engraving with UM2!!!

As a pilot I am worried about them being available so widespread. Granted, only a handful of people are irresponsible with lasers. But from an aviation perspective we have a lot of instances of people thinking it is "fun" to aim a laser at an aircraft and blind the pilot You must be abe t...

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

MS GWX so exhausted me that night I updated to the latest version. And immediately fell off Autodesk Content Connection. They control panel hid so that I had to look for it for about 10 minutes... But the system works smoothly, there will not argue.
