REC filament
The guys from REC release as the line of filaments of ABS, PLA, HIPS, Flex, and something called RUBBER. I have been asked to give the PLA probes, and the quality was good. But the post is not about that. They lead the page in Instagram, and there are absolutely incredible things. P.S. Thanks @Amede...

Re: Discussion: Collaborative 3D model library
Interesting idea. About formats there are several reasons: firstly, the principle of backward compatibility dictates the most use and is the oldest still the most common formats. Secondly, let us think, what software will be use to work with this library? The list will be from 5-6 positions. Is ther...

Re: Fusion360
There is a lovely version with a student license on a huge Assembly of programmes from Autodesk. There just and inventor, and Fusion 360 and another 7 or 8 large CAD subsystems. And its free.

Re: Printing Kevlar?
Found this: http://cubeject.ru/goods/Nagrevatelnyj-stol-dlya-3D-printera-CHOT . They declare to heat up to 100 degrees in 8 minutes with a limit in the region of 110 degrees. Dimensions, I think, suitable for I3. The price is ridiculous. Still don't know if they do UM-bed in size, wrote them a mail,...

Re: SpaceClaim
Products Autodesk surpass, alas. I tried the CAD system from Dassault, and it left mixed impressions. With one hand she looked like the most perfect Audocad208-like, on the other hand its incompatibility with a huge amount of additions and standards does not allow to use it in production mode. But i...

Re: Printing Kevlar?
I signed to MarkOne's newsletter. They announced the second version of its printer. Strange, but they dualnozzle prints looks very nice, but only works in the horizontal plane. I originally chose between they printer and UM2, but high price and propietary filament is finally scared me off.

Re: Like the Facebook Page!
Firstly, I think that the main reason of creating this Board is the fact that the current design of the native forum makes many of us cry tears of blood. Maybe it's age, maybe it's force of habit, but they are really hard to use. The guys from UM, we must admit, they are really trying to make things...
