Re: How much should a good 3D printer cost?

I think the support interface feature came very recently. Don't think it was available when you had the UM3 @LePaul.

But I have been wrong before 😂

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

If you are after that big build volume, yes, it might be a decent budget choice :)
But not if you want something small, and cute 😊
If I had time a money I would probably build a DICE or something very similar.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

Ok, I was afraid of the printers quality. I would never buy it at full price. But this was a used one that might end up at ~$100.

I like the small "closed" type. I missed the opportunity to buy a used UM2 Go recently. That one would have been ideal :)

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

Anyone got opinions on the M3D Micro printer as something for a kid to play with?
I know it's slow and has it's limitations. But I might be able to grab one cheap.

Re: CoreXY + a-la-um2frame + Internal rails + Duet3D = Woa

I have begun collecting parts for a DICE, and it will be built with high-quality parts only, so HIWIN rails etc. Recieved the water jet cut parts a few weeks ago, and i have a order with René for the water cooling parts :-) Where did you order the plates from? All the interesting 3D-printers I have...

Re: Hairspray!

No need to spray on the glass. Paper towel, window washer and a few puffs of hairspray. And rub it on the glass bed. Clean and simple :)

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

Today i'm exited...tonight I will step back in time to my childhood together with my oldest son...and see the life of one of the greatest race car drivers of all time displayed on the big screen (yes, that is not just my opinion ;) ). He knew just how far you could push a car and he beat many driver...

Re: CoreXY + a-la-um2frame + Internal rails + Duet3D = Woa

This is, apart from the corexy stuff, what I have been pondering about for a while back in my already overloaded head 😝

Albeit my goal was kind of a UM2 Go sized printer that I could build with my son that he could then use himself.

Yup, those Bondtech gears do know how to handle your filament...just like you need to handle a girl

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

Went to a place with a kids playground on our vacation...where my son found a new favorite: IMG_2571.JPG So I searched our local eBay alternative an found one...so I had to buy one. It's probably the same age as me...a bit rusty...but still works and will probably outlast many modern toys 😊 IMG_2574...

I am not a troll...I'm a user of this forum...that @LePaul setup with some forum software that I know little to none about. I reported an issue, that I as a user have seen multiple times, with steps to reproduce the issue. That is my bug report...how it is handled is up to the administrator(s) here.
