To build Marlin 2.0 you'll need Arduino IDE 1.8.8 or newer or PlatformIO.

Re: Firmware for HICTOP 3DP08
Currently I am using Marlin 2 on all my 3D Printers and even My MPCNC. Though you can choose any version that you would like. I could have stopped on Marlin 1.1.5 and really would not know the Difference. I really like to the full adventure of All the 3D Printer fun including the Firmware testing an...

Re: Firmware for HICTOP 3DP08
Hello again! Have a google Drive link with all firmware compatibly with your 3DP08 3D Printer Here . Have given this firmware to many Hictop users and It has worked on all Hardware Compatible Hictops. I believe you will be happier with the newer versions of firmware that I have posted there. And hav...

Well hold on.
here is an over head view of an Ultimaker.
What is the Height with the bed at top of Z-Axis is the two shown smooth rods.

Re: Sequential Printing
I see you set the Gantry height to 180mm.
I thought this was the height of the X-Axis smooth rods, when at 0,0,0 home to allow clearance for models.
OR
Did I miss something.

G02 / G03 Support
I am looking at how to create and use G02 / G03 Arcs. By looking at the web I see the STL does not Support curves, therefore STL files are a lot of straight lines forming a makeshift arc of polygons. I know the G-Code can form an ARC using G02 / G03, so which program can one use to create 3D Printer...

Slicers that use the ARC length formula function
A general question about slicers. Does anyone know what Slicers allow uses of the ARC length formula function. As the function speed up many 3D Prints it would be handy to know which Slicers allow ARC length formula. It appears I am asking the wrong question. "The model you export has that patt...

Sequential Printing
Today I decide to setup Sequential Printing an I deturmined this was some kind of a cruel trick. After setting it up the head size deturmined that by using Cura I could not allow more than one Benchy. Tried another slicer, I setup Raise3D Ideal Maker this was somewhat easier to setup and to understa...

Re: Cleaning the Z axis threads?
This might sound overly simple. Use a soft towel covered in WD40, I turn the lead screws / wipe smooth rods while removing the dirty lube. 1. Using LCD set to Max/Min while the 3D Printer moves to this location wipe off the dirty lube. 2. With machine is off Adjust to a dirty area wipe all smooth ro...

Re: Firmware for HICTOP 3DP08
This is a good first print. I had to do a lot of filing and sanding to get the two parts to slide smoothly

I see no reason that it would not work.
You are running Marlin, all my machines are running OctoPrint on some version of Marlin.
