Re: Temperature analysis of PVA and Bridge Nylon
That blue PLA is horrible stuff...I still have 3/4 a roll sitting in an airtight bag. The time I got my UMO, there was a silver roll in and as far as I remember, it prented pretty well... Sorry, I have to jump back to PVA: I ordered a roll app one year ago - it is still unopened and seems to be per...

Re: Laser Engraving with UM2!!!
You live in a very interesting part of the world...I was just looking at it in Google Maps. (Sorry to hijack the thread!) (hijack on) did the same... might be interesting to have a map of the world where we can see where each other is located. Remember that there was something in the early UM days....

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
Regarding multi-axis mini CNC-machines, I would have ordered this thing long time ago if I was living in the US: http://www.pocketnc.com :) Wow, I just read that they will start shipping internationally! (this will be difficult to explain to my wife.. :-? ) How cute... damn, want one... the only th...

Re: Laser Engraving with UM2!!!
Guys, youre right - lasers are damn dangerouse so I DONT want to see a upgrade kit or something like this... BUT: I also created a 3W-laser head for my UMO and in the meantime I laser cut a few parts mainly made of paper/cardboard/balsa. Regarding safety, my recommendation/the way I do is to 1.) mou...

Re: Here we are!
@ LePaul, thank you very much for creating this place. Like Chop, I also enjoyed the old forum as there was less design and more content and the chance to get crazy ideas to mod my UMO when bought in 2012 :-) ... and of course meet again some of the contributors of the early days I jumped in and hav...
