SelectExtruder Postprocessor ported to Cura 2.5

Post by drayson »

Hi!
just want to let you know that DaHai8 has ported the SelectExtruder Postprocessor made by Dim3nsioneer to work with Cura 2.5

More info and the download can be found here:

Thats great as this was always a nice way to select a train for single nozzle prints on a dual machine.
Now with Cura 2.5 it's a nice workaround.
Why? Simple...
As Cura 2.5. does not support selective train heatup, it always heats both trains in a dual setup, independend if only one is used to print. Only workaround for this is to choose a single printer setup. And here this postprocessor comes in place to make the second train useable for e.g. a different color or material...
Maybe this issue will be solved in future cure, up to then, this postprocessor might be helpful...

Special thanks to DaHai8 for porting and of course Dim3nsioneer for initial work...
