Print only top 2cm of a model in Cura?

Post by reibuehl »

I have a very tall object that I would like to do a test print of the top 2 cm (which has all the "critical" features) but due to the form, I can't just print it upside down and stop the print after 2cm. Is there a way to "cut" off the lower part in Cura? Or is there another quick way other than copying and modifying the original CAD?

Are you using the new beta version or the regular one?
For the regular version, if you have the advanced settings enabled:

Don't know if the beta can still do this... It probably can but I don't have it installed so can't help your there.
