Different filament profiles

Post by LePaul »

Is there a way...

I've been going between ColorFabb PLA/PHA, nGen and XT-CF20 .....and it's a real drag to completely re-do so many settings. Is there a way, or will there be....a means to save a certain profile?

You can store profiles in Cura 2.1.x
Cura 2.2 will have better profiles which can distinguish between materials (can't remember if I read this on the UM forum or on Github).

@ LePau, I made a little excel file with a macro assisting in cfg file creation. I already posted it somewhere in the forum, but attached again the new version... maybe helpfull...

b.t.w.: printed LayBrick today for the first time - great stuff... :-)

That's good information.

For my Colorfabb PLA/PHA prints, I have been using Cura 15.04.6 For Colorfabb XT-CF20, I am using Cura 15.04.4 :)
