Prusaslicer

Post by Roberts_Clif »

I have been working with Prusaslicer alpha versions recently and find it very powerful.

Like the project save function I can setup special characteristics that are to be preformed, upon loading the 3mf file all settings are restored.
So if I make a temp tower 190 C to 230C I can save this model give it to someone all setting are loaded with the model.
If fact all special parameters set in Prusaslicer all preloaded with the Project model.

I am new to Slic3r looking for information on How to adjust all the settings in the slicer.

I have a Prusa i3 compatible 3D Printer a Hictop 3DP11/12 which has a 220 X 270 X 190 Build Area.
As the Prusa Slicer is compatible to Slic3r I will be using this Prusa Slicer 2.3.0 alpha 2,
Have four working pretty well at this time in the newest version of Prusa Slicer.

I am finding that the Ender profiles are working with little adjustments.
The top Dragon is starting to show more detail with a modified Ender 5 profile.
Though they take longer to print the same model than using Cura.
Would like to operate PrusaSlicer at the same speeds it appears to be a excellent slicer.

Decided to print a pre-sliced model G-Code from Prusa Printers.
It printed perfectly. Now I need to go through the Modifier meshes tutorial to see how I can do this myself.
