Hi all
Does anybody have an ideas why I get this "pip" on a print, do you think it's hardware or software.
It's not exactly at the back of the print, it's slightly to one side.
I'm using Cura 4.8.0.
Settings 0.2mm layer, no supports or brim as it's an open lid.
I've been printing with the same setting but never noticed this because of the shape of the prints.
Thanks in advance.
Lez

On Cura slicers you have a function that allows a random start print location called Z-Seam alignment.
Though if you choose this random function it creates more travel moves.

Thanks
This could be useful on some prints.
I don't know whether you can see from the photo but the "pip" starts after the radius on the bottom.

I wonder if that is from the Combing setting?

Re: Strange pip on outside of print
I have just installed Cura 4.90 and looked at the Lid with the "Pip"
I has colours to help see how it prints.
As you can see there is a line where the "Pip" is.
It's just off-centre the same as the part.
I'll have to do some investigating.
