Globby 2-4th layers

Post by rainman687 »

Hey I’m new to 3d printing and am getting frustrated. When I am printing something that has a large base such as a tray for my ender 3pro the first 2-3 layers get printed amazingly, then after that they start to get more and more rough and bumpy. If I am printing something tall with infill it will self correct and again print an amazing few top layers so that they are glass smooth. I have adjusted flow rate as well as calibrated the e steps and added a metal extruded. Any ideas what’s up?

I would suspect that you need to adjust the settings of your slicer.

Without seeing the slicer settings I cannot help you, please post your Slicer name and the settings and we will find a solution for you.
My 3D Printer is quite similar to your Ender Pro 3, I will post my Setting for Cura 4.3.0 for you to try.
