Blobs in the walls

Post by Togge »

Hello
I am new to the forum and would need help with the 3dBenchy print. As you can see from the attached photos, I get blobs in the bow onthe boat while the side looks good. Have tried 2 PLA rolls and the result is the same. I use Cura 4.8 as slicer. I have done the esteps calibration for the extruder.

As you might have noted the bumps are on the Bow of the boat.
This could be that you are trying to print a little too fast on the 3dBenchy.

What settings are you using to slice the 3dBenchy

Save your slicer profile and post.

Settings > Profile > Manage Profile > Click
Select the profile you are using Export an attach to next post.

I would think filament moisture only the blobs only occur on beveled edge..

I'm willing to bet that's the randomized z seam

Thank you for helping me. I tried to lower the printspeed to 30mm / s. But there are still blobs in the print. Attach photo and Cura setttings.
