PROBLEM PRINTING NEMESIS ENGINES ON ELEGOO MARS PRO
Hello! I am desperate!
I got my Elegoo Mars Pro 1 week ago, and I have spent like 500ml of resin and tons of hours trying to properly print the Engines of Nemesis Board Game. I have the STL files but i have no clue of how to properly add the supports, i have printed it from different angles, upside down, it does not matter, everytime a different part get spoiled.
I would need a expert mind that could do me the favor to add the supports for them three for me, I will send the .stl files, please, I want to cry! i feel a damn girl with a 3D printer sniff
Who could help me out? thanksss in advanceee

Have you looked at any Youtube videos on adding supports.
Also what are your results like. Do you have any photos?
Getting to angle right of the part and adding supports takes a little time to master, but it's not rocket science. Each model is different.
I have printed the same part 3 times. The first 2 perfect, then the last one screwed up. I've no idea why. I know it's no help but you are not alone.
Also what software are you using?

I use PrusaSlicer for orientation and adding supports. It can orientate the part for the best angle and it does a good job of automatic supports, but you need to add more normally.
I then use Chilubox for slicing.
These seem to be a popular combination.

Yes, i have viewed tons of videos, the problem is that my base is very peculiar because it has a sort of aperture to introduce the token and I have no idea of how to make it not be spoiled. See pic attached, i used Lychee automatic orientation and supports. it has 45 degree or so. The other was printed without rotation and it simply got unsticked after 4 hours so I had to discard it.

Soy ingles y vivo en España y hablo español, pero no bien.
I think it might be better to split it into 2 parts, then glue then together as it is complicated.
Are you able to do this.

Yes I can split it, but anyways i have no clue of how to fix those parts or which orientation I should give to this kind of figure. That is the problem.

I have been to the Malaga region for holidays, before we moved to Spain. We were at Nerja and Cómpeta. I did a lot of cycling there. It's a very beautiful area. I remember the views from Cómpeta, you could see the sea.
I got your email thanks.

I haven't tried resin printers yet.... how cleanly do those supports come off?

I take the supports off before curing as they break off easily. I use a sharp knife to cut a few then I can just pull them off in one go.
Compared with filament supports they are a lot better, you only see a small dot that can easily be sanded off.
LePaul you will have to get a printer to try, they don't cost that much now.

Re: PROBLEM PRINTING NEMESIS ENGINES ON ELEGOO MARS PRO
Oh I know that....i need a clean spot for it that's free of pet hair
Plus I'd like some good sized print volume, most of these look very tiny. I'd like to print fan ducts and maybe things the FDM can't do well
Suggestions welcome
