cura update

Post by colyn »

I had been printing parts for a new project, an update for Cura came up so I updated
and resumed printing!. Since the upgrade the printerit is not printing the boundaries
ie it is printing without perimeters, even worse it is now happening with slicr as well.

I have had a 3d printer for approx. 3yrs now and have never had anything like this happen.

I tried deleting the update and loading an earlier version but the situation is still the same.

It seems weird that this is happening with both Cura and Slicr.

Can you auto home and travel each axis fine? Check connections?

Clearly something is up

I had a similar problem when I was using different slicers,
Still do not know exactly what happened though the result was the 3D Printer was printing erratic.

I ended up doing a 3D Printer factory reset as the temporary memory was corrupted.
by sending M502 - Factory Reset
Followed by M500 - Save Settings

I changed all my slicers to have almost identical configurations, have never experienced this scenario on my 3D Printer memory again.
