Ford Mustang OBDII connector holder

Post by Roberts_Clif »

Recently purchased a new Mustang and wanted to protect my vehicle with a GPS tracking device.
Ordered the device and found the when plugged into the OBDII port there are errors in tracking because of the OBDII port location.
Decided to purchase an OBDII Y cable this would allow the device a higher location in the vehicle though it came with nonstandard OBDII connector mounting.

I Designed the below model a simple OBDII Holder for the GPS theft / Tracking device.

Could round the corners though it was not necessary for this hidden OBDII mount.

I printed this model in PLA, I believe that ABS would have been a better choice.

What is would you have used if you were 3D Printing this model.?

ABS is a hassle, PETG or a copolyester like ColorFabb nGen would work nicely. ColorFabb makes a higher temperature nGen version as well.
