At the moment busy with bigger printing...
and trying to find all the sweet settings and trics to end up with good prints, how to deal with multiple parts, print time, material, etc.
Borrowed the Z-unlimited from Rooie Joris, this setup can print up to 3 meters!! http://www.rooiejoris.nl/z-unlimited/
I am, trying to, print a scaled statue of the Plastic Madonna total length of 120 cm, but the bed is still 20x20 cm.
first piece, the feet... 35 cm high
but the hard part is to divide the whole model in practical pieces that fit on the platform and are printable without infill or support...
and the all the elements have to be connected together again
to be continued...
ps. because all of the specific adjustment we are organizing a 3d masterclass for bigger printing in Amsterdam, 25 or 26 June.

Re: Bigger prints
Good luck... and hopefully no fire as the extinguishers are behind what is most probably burning...
Re: Bigger prints
good point, but the subject for possible burning is on the other side of the space: a 150W lasercutter..

Re: Bigger prints
Wow, that's neat
Many of the prints I need to do are a bit taller ....and would fit an extended+...but are also wider and would not fit. I wish they had 12x12x12 (or more!)
