Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
Guys what a funny day. I got my um2 head from china 90€. They sell an 'olsson' for 1.75 that they say it's perfect LOL. They drill it with a 4mm bit and then they insert a ptfe 4-2mm until it touches the nozzle.
Did open a dispute so they refund me 40€ and they did. So not bad. There's some parts that I can actually use and the part broken I can just 3d print it.
It's good to have level A4 on aliexpress, they had to listen or the get bad reviews.
See @amedee ? If you trst what you buy you can actually scavenge some XD

Alignment of the X-axis at three points with this undying classic. In fact, used almost everywhere in surveying.

The problem is that more and more, what you are buying locally is the same junk at premium price.LePaul wrote:I won't deal with the Chinese junk
I don't have a problem to pay a fair price for a quality product manufactured locally, but if it is to buy the same with just another label on it then I'll shop directly in Asia...

Image is not mine ))) But usually in every company and public institution have a picture of him, so his gaze is omnipresent.
UPD: Of course, talking about Russia. In Kazakhstan instead of Putin we look at our Presidents photo.

You know you can insert this as auto startup code, or after/before a print. To let your printer play a melody when your print is done

There are some explanation here...ivan.akapulko wrote: Great idea! But how to make a gcode from any other tune? Any manuals?
They typically start from midi files and map to the steppers frequency

Rickard Dahlstrand (he is a very nice guy btw) has made a script that automates parsing MIDI-to-Gcode: https://github.com/rickarddahlstrand/MIDI-to-CNC

Had a closer look at the test print we did on the Form 2 in Stockholm, the surface finish, precision and level of detail is just stunning!
