PEI Question

Thought I would try some PEI. Bought a sheet and applied it to glass.
Directions said to preheat the bed to anywhere between 60 and 100 to smooth
it out. (Seemed like an unnecessary step)

I heated it to 75 and it bubbled. I mean big bubbles like 1/2 in bubbles.

I was planning on using it for higher than PLA temps, but doesn't look like it's going to work.

Make sure that's not the protective coating!

I applied some PEI I bought from a vendor and got bubbles...and he asked if I had removed the top/protective coating!

Yep, nope .. lol .. I peeled both sides. The side that was sticky as hell, I put on the glass.
The other side ( the work surface side ) had a really thin plastic peal off.

I bought the PEI sheet and a piece of glass from Amazon, and I don't think it should have bubbled and I can
not get it off of the glass so both need replaced. But if I did ANYTHING wrong that wouldn't be right.

But all I did was properly apply the sheet and heat it up per instructions and it melted the stuff.

Very weird, where did you get it?
