Trying to decide which to get...New Ender 3 or used Prusa I3. Here is the listing for the Prusa I3:
Around 3 months old, but never used. Everything works perfectly fine but the only thing wrong with it is that the extruder gear doesn't turn while printing for some reason. It does turn manually however. Comes with 1.5+ yards of PLA filament, 10 0.4 extruder tips, Smart Tip, 3D Wifi, screwdrivers, and extra parts. It also comes with a filament holder.
How serious is the extruder gear not turning?
Thank you.

Re: Prusa I3 or Ender 3
It sounds like either a bad connection to the stepper motor, bad stepper motor, or (worst case) bad mainboard. It can be easily fixed if you have some basic skills.
