Welcome, where are you from?

No matter your printer....be it filament based or resin ....welcome!

I wanted to create a forum that is separate from all the various manufacturer support sites. Someplace where fans of 3D printing can find another cool place to web surf too. Share some tips. Help the new guys and maybe learn a few tweaks or their own machines or prints!

My name is Paul...I'm from Orrington, Maine (USA)

Howdy!

I am not sure I need to present myself, everything is in the Olsson-block video already.
But if you have any questions, you are welcome to ask :)

Hello everyone, Meduza/Erik from Stockholm, Sweden here. Some of you probably know me already from the UM forum, but just to summarize it i have two Ultimakers at home, i am a founder and the current chairman of Stockholm Makerspace where we have a bunch of Ultimakers amongst a lof of fantastic tools and people, and my day job a is at a distrubutor of Ultimaker, 3DVerkstan, since a while ago :-)

I am also doing freelance consulting work in product development, 3d printing and education trough my own company "Cederb AB", so if you want to hire me for a interesting project, that is just fine by me ;)

Hey everyone, Hrvoje aka chopmeister here from Zagreb, Croatia. Nice to be here, Johnny and Alex (Antiklesys) from the UM forums told me to come join, so here I am. Not really a forum person though, but I'll try to be around.

I've got an UMO although the only stock part on it now is the wooden frame :D. I've also got a monstruous small-car-sized laser cutter in my garage.

I have a neglected blog on www.chopmeister.com which I'm currently moving to my own hosting (used to be blogspot). My projects of note could be the H3 extruder I did a long time ago, the KNRLR, which was a tiny dremel attachment to make spiked drive bolts, the MicroWave belt tensioners, and the Twister Blocks, which are still the best bearing blocks I've ever had on my UM (shameless boasting I know :D ).

In real life I'm a 3d artist, specializing in architectural stuff, and that about wraps it up. :)

Don't own a 3d printer, but have one on my desk.

Hi all,
Jonny from Switzerland here!

I'm an electronics guy, currently expanding my horizon with mechanical engineering stuff.
Been working on a new super-duper-3D-printer for around 3 years now. I am currently building the third prototype which has some hopes of actually working and maybe living up to my expectations. Until then I'm working with a mostly unmodified UMO, except for the heated bed which I just slapped on top of my acrylic platform..
