Ruby Nozzles, Wanted in Europe

Post by Izzy »

Calling all of us in Europe that would like to get their hands on one of the few remaining experimental Ruby Nozzles.

:ugeek: Paul has a few of Anders' remaining Ruby Nozzles to assembly for 3.0mm & 1.75mm filaments :-) (and by a few I mean less than 9  for 3mm), the cost per nozzle is $25 + shipping.
The bugger is that shipping is $34.
Is anybody interested in sharing the cost of shipping across the pond and then splitting and shipping from here? If we got a combination of 10 Nozzles then it is likely that we would be looking at approximately $30 a nozzle plus local taxes  and shipping for a group purchase.

So what's the interest among us in Europe? :?:
(Izzy) I'm after a 2.85mm nozzle. And possibly a 1.75mm :ugeek:

Interest, yes, but I´m currently thinking of redesign my head completely - maybe upgrade with core's so I don´t know if it is efficient :-)
Another idea: I have a few colleagues in US which travel home for chrismas (oh yes, cris rea is in my ears...) so maybe we could skip shipping cost by a using a human package and some beer as stamp :-)

Hm, I know shipping is expensive across the pond, but from Europe on it should be quite cheap. Are these the final ones that have better heat conductance, or the same like the beta one that is currently in my printer :P I doubt I'll need another anytime soon, but it might be nice to have a spare one in case something strange happens with the beta one.
I could serve as a shipping hub for people that go to Ultievenings(now called Ultimaker sessions I believe). I go there from time to time :)

I think they are the beta ones, LePaul may be able to confirm this.
