Controller Card Information

Post by Roberts_Clif »

I have Hictop controllers Cards MPX.3 and A Base v1.3, have noticed it has a Aux 1 port but have no ideal what it is used for or how to use it.
This post it to get as much information as possible about the Hictop Controller cards.

If you found any usable information post it here.

If this has already been done point us to it.

These boards are basically just Arduino Mega 2560s with many of the features of a RAMPS 1.3 board integrated into it (stepper motor drivers, limit switch circuitry, etc.). The Aux port is likely just an assigned Arduino pin, and depending on which pin it is you can use it as a simple logic control to turn other things on/off as you would with a normal Arduino.

It has 8 pins and is labeled +5, GND, TXD and RXD on one side it appears to be some kind of a Dual serial port.

Maybe an Extension of the USB Port.

I have found some information, It appears that the Aux 1 may be used for the MKS TFT28/32 Color touch screen.

I was searching for schematics for information on a PS_ON pin and found the same thing about that port (touch screen display port).
