Printing without a LCD or wireless option

Post by AkiraKurai »

I'm using a radds board without an LCD screen and want to print using an SD card or any other method available.

Is it possible to print without an LCD screen or is it a must of you want to print from an SD card.

Depending on your firmware, something like the Autostart functionality in the Marlin firmware might be a way to do this. If your firmware supports this, then it should be sufficient to save your file with the name auto0.g on the card and then insert it and turn your printer on.

Well, if you have the option to connect a raspberry pi, octoprint might be the way to go. With octoprint you can either stream directly or print from SD. http://octoprint.org/
