Printing from SD Card on LCD Display

Post by kgrigio »

With my 3DP-11-ATL I am able to print from the SD card when the card is inserted onto the controller, but when I try to insert the card into the LCD display and print from there, it won't print. Any ideas? I have looked through the firmware and it appears I have it set up to read the SD card from the LCD display correctly.

I have made an enclosure for my printer and it's a pain to insert the SD card onto into the controller, so inserting it into the LCD display would be much preferred. Thanks.

The controller with the built-in SD reader disables the LCD reader electrically, I believe. I have the same issue. I ended up buying an SD extension cable off Amazon, and routing it to the front of my 3DP-17. The reason they did this was to reduce interference on the ribbon cables from the display.
