Help flimsy prints don't know what to do

Post by belason »

I have a Creality 10 S5 question I was hoping anyone could help me with. Idk why, but recently my prints have started coming out flimsy. They used to be solid, hard, smooth surfaces. Now the surface is still "smooth-ish" but there's stringing everywhere that looks like light spiderwebs, if i hold the print up to the light I can kinda see light through it. Or when trying to print small parts or the ends of things qhen it's higher up it'll just fall apart. Worst of all the integrity is just gone, i can take the prints and just crush them in my hand with little effort. I have replaced the Bowden tube, replaced the nozzle head and Im still getting the same results. I was hoping anyone could shed some light on the situation. Thank you so much for your time and thoughts

Here is a few reasons why this could happen.
Under extrusion
- the extruder could have became clogged
- the sliced model could have been sliced at the wrong filament diameter
" I have had this happen
" it makes the model look like Swiss cheese if you slice with 3mm filament and print with 1.75mm filament

An example of a Swiss cheese print
