@Samurai has loved his and I decided to order one too. From GearBest (wish me luck, again!)

Quick heating bed and better surface sound interesting.

Well...with all these backorders and who knows when these things will really ship...I cancelled :)

I haven't heard a lot of good things about Tevo, just the opposite actually. Apparently they sent a 'demo' unit to Tom Salander(?) to do a review, without telling him. Then he gets a call from customs that they need paperwork and fees to get it released. Then Tevo sent him $1000 as a 'tip', again no explanation.

At least that was what I read at https://all3dp.com/3d-printing-community-angry-tevo/.

Also, a lot of people on Facebook are frustrated with GearBest, just in delays for their CR-10.

On the other hand, Tom posted happily, not long ago, about getting a free printer from, I think it was, that other company. So why is one company "good" and another "bad"?
I take all of this with a grain of salt...but then again...I would probably not buy a printer from either of those companies...and that is not due to what Tom posted :P

Well if you read that link, it also details how the popular 3D Print group on Facebook had to ban every verified member of Tevo from the group. Anyone with any small problem with a Tevo was flamed, insulted, attacked and beyond. The moderators said they had never seen anything like it before.

I side with Tom. Tevo is doing some pretty shady things and I bet that machine was probably a cherry-picked one, too.

The Tevo has an MKS board and a AC heat bed....that's all it has over the CR-10. Those are nice things.

But I am not going to play into the mass waiting game. I suspect their quality control is probably taking a hit, trying to dig out of a big backorder.

Again, I feel like these are mini-kickstarters. Announce new printer, have no stock on hand...then build like crazy once huge orders come. I just don't like that.

I can honestly say....no regrets on canceling

Many people are starting to receive their printers and it looks like most are happy with them.

I haven't decided what I'll do...pick one up after the holidays...or wait for next must have cheap China printer...which we see in 90 day cycles!

Well.....a few months later, I finally bought and received one!

Only took 5 days from order to shipping!

Arrived on Saturday and since I have been re-arranging the shop, no time to unbox it yet!
