Anyone knows what causes this?
So my first layer part looked like it went very well. Then the second layer starts doing this. Anyone knows what causes these ripples? Thanks a bunch!

Re: Anyone knows what causes this?
I get that occasionally, depending on the filament and hot-end temperature. I have run temp calibrations before (when I first started), and found that some filaments vary in preferred temperature by as much as 10 degrees. With PLA, I found 190-210 range works best overall. Some filaments require higher temps (210), others preferred 190.
Now just run a lazy medium at 200 since I rarely print anything flat.

I am currently using hatchbox. Any experience using it?

Re: Anyone knows what causes this?
Usually those ripples show you are printing too hot. What are you using for layer 1 and then the rest?
I usually do Hatchbox at 207 then 205 after layer one, 100% fan

I use Hatchbox almost exclusively (better quality for the colors I use). I run at 200 for most everything.
