Visual Studio 2019 Launch Event

Post by Roberts_Clif »

Why are you posing about Visual Studio 2019 Launch Event, because it can be used to compile Arduino sketches for 3D Printers.

I prefer the Arduino IDE compilers they are easy to use.
Or if you prefer a Compiler with a expanded capacity Visual Studio 2019 is for you.
If you have Arduino sketches you can import them into Visual Studio / Atmel Studio projects.
The Atmel Studio comes with the original IDE used for opening your sketches, this means that there are no conversion changes.
You can easily open modify and save your changes, without loosing the ability to open and compile with the original Arduino IDE compiler.

I have written many programs in Visual Studio from Accounts Receivables, Payroll, Cable Tray entry, Recipe Book, and many many Games.
So looking forward to installing the New Visual Studio 2019...

In addition to the Visual Studio 2017 I have added the PlatformIO,
This allows a second option of compiling 3D Printer Firmware, PlatformIO allows for compiling for 32 bit Controllers as well.

With many good tutorials available for learning PlatformIO, is a little more complicated to install than the Arduino IDE compilers.
Requiring installation of multiple parts before you can compile your first firmware.

His is a quick start tutorial

Very Helpful tutorial for PlatformIO installation.
If you will share such tutorial for Arduino IDE, it will be easy to understand it too.
