Holes in thin walls

Post by AndrejSlo »

Hello everyone.
I have an issue with Cura. My model is an airplane fuselage which needs to be printed with wall thickness of 1.
But this strange issue occurs with random holes, which are made because Cura decides that it needs to go back to layer start point and continue on other side of model and then returning slightly offset from where it left off.
I do not have Costing enabled.
I have enabled detect thin walls.
Also tried with setting static Z seam alignment, but same issue.
Anyone knows what is happening?

Figured it out.
Setting the Slicing Tolerance to "Inclusive" removed most of the holes.
The remaining ones are reduced in size by setting Maximum Resolution to 0.1
