Printer broke itself

Post by victorcharlie »

I have a creality cr-6 se. The first prints were amazing. I was new and was leaning. I was trying a new print that had small parts and it would not print the small part. While trying over and over I connected the printer to my computer to send prints faster and one try the printer got messed up and scraped the head along the print deck. I stopped it but the damages was done. It has never printed the beautiful prints since. This mishap caused the prints to not adhere to the deck very well. I have spent on and off for over a year to fix the problem. I replaced the nozel. It has automatic leveling. Manually seeing the z height. I can only get good adhesion when I heat the bed and use a glue stick. Any ideas what could have been messed up to cause this? PS I just updated the printer the the latest community firmware with no change.

Is your z offset set correctly? I'm guessing either that or the filament isn't sticking to the bed. Make sure the bed is clean and free of finger prints
