From the 'remember me' list it seems phpbb collects IPs as well.
Could it be that the key is invalidated when the IP changes?

I have been switching between home wifi, airport wifi, hotel wifi, customer wifi and back the whole week without having to re-login. So I doubt that it is the IP change.

Amedee I sometimes am logged out during the day whilst still at the same IP, so I am pretty sure its not IP related either.

Could it be something related to a web proxy? Do you use a proxy?

I've never been logged out of this forum before iirc. Usually using the same PC though. Win7 pro, up-to-date Firefox

I got logged out yesterday...I think it has happened twice, or maybe three times since I joined here. It happens in other forums also so i'm not sure it related to the forum. Could be a weird browser issue. This is on a work laptop connected mostly to a corporate network, and occasionally at home (Win7 + Chrome).

When connecting from home on my private laptop (OSX + Safari) I don't think I have been logged out yet. But my memory is known for sometimes failing :-P

I guess I shouldn't have started to post in this thread...now I get logged out pretty much every day too...on both laptops that I use :(

But strangely enough, i'm not logged out from my iPhone that I also use pretty much every day. And my iPhone uses the same WiFi as one of my laptops, when i'm not on the go. So something weird is going on here.

For me it changes as well... Now my laptop remains logged in but it's my desktop that is regularly logged out. It's a bit of a mystery :)
