Okay well since I have CF loaded in the machine, maybe I'll try this tonight!

(And buy beer on the way home, you know, just in case :) )

I would like to pla test it but I want to focus on my beyond slideblocks. So far they are working nice but I need to run tests with the real um2 shafts. I want the full print bed available :D

Btw if the fancap bends by fan weigh I just know the sollution will be very easy by making the bottom-left/right just 0.6-0.8 taller to gain enough hardness.

Ummm. I'm gonna go and upload that change. That should fix any future problem.

To the 50x50 one?

I was looking at the file in Cura. Up on its side (like the tutorial pic!) with 'Support Type: Everywhere'

I'm really really curious how the CF will do with this...the support material will be inside the model so I hope it comes out really well. (Like you said, forget bridging!)

Yes, thank you for that!

I don't have Rhino (I should ask my daugther...) but I already have loaded the steps in F360 ;)
Not that I wanted to change something at this point in time, but it is easier to visualize.

Ok 50x50 version botom-left/right and fancap updated. Titus, if you print bottomleft/right they should work on pla and fix that curve for good. But probably since the Bottom-right it's near the peek it might need carbon/abs/ngen to last longer.

The fancap, to print it, you need to print it like on the image sandervg uploaded from his cura.

Also change the angle of supports to 70 degrees so you don't generate more supports than needed. Basically the idea it's to use support only on the areas that would bridge on pla. I suppose with ngen or pla-tec it would bridge perfectly like it does on pla.

If you open the rhino it has everything on two sides 'hideswap' command changes that. One side has the fancap assembled parts and the other all the splines that generate all the structure. The inner lines are on 'history' mirroed so when you change one the other adjust, this way when you make the 'loft' command you can readjust the airexit quite fast in realtime.

I have my Fill , Bottom/Top thickness set to 1.2 Asides that, everything matches. Plus the combing off and retraction 15mm/sec and 4mm

Off we go. 5.7 hours to go since I opted to print slower (40 mm/sec)

Is the Top Left and Top Right pieces needed in the 50mm?

Just looking at what I print next!

I'm at a loss why the supports look so bad on one side

It's me or your walls don't touch? Maybe it's the photo but seems they have gaps.

Somehow, by the grace of God, I have a usable part

But now I am wondering if I should consider replacing the pieces above the heater block (I have spare parts from the dual extruder Kit I never used)

After removing some support material.

Boy this stuff (CF20) can't bridge at all even with support.
