Kinda curious about what they come up with. If it seriously impresses me, perhaps I'll still cancel my Prusa order... So weird... Waiting 2+ years for a new UM printer, see what it will be, finally decide to order one from a different brand and about a week later: there is the new UM...

The "launch party" looks like it will be around dinner time for us here so I guess it will be party time here too then

This kinda surprised me as well. Glad this forum is still running though.

Doesn't surprise me. They need time to update the product page.

With a content system you can even do this automatically. I'm pretty sure we have a working CMS.

One has to wonder though why the whole web site has to go offline for that long.
I am sure there are plenty of Ultimaker users out there that does not care even slightly about the new Ultimaker, but would like to access other content on both the web page and the forum.

Don't you think it has been very silent around the new Ultimaker by the way?
I rarely visit the official forum now days but I was checking it out past days just out of curiosity and it is remarkably quiet considering a brand new machine is going to be launched, I think!
Or is the new forum still that much less popular than the old forum was?

Okay, I know that many of the heavy posters already know things they are not allowed to talk about regarding the new Ultimaker (just as on this forum ), but still.
Could be that forum people got less curious when it is marketed as "Industrial" too of course, or maybe information has leaked to many more of the active members than I would have guessed.

I've seen that list and almost all the heavy posters are on it. So in that regard it's not that strange that it was quite silent. I wont deny that the new machine will have a more "industrial" focus, but I doubt that will stop the maker crowd from speculating.

So many people online on the forum now ))) Any information about the planned live stream from presentation?
