Does it teach you much you didn't know already?

Good question

If anything a more formal history and background than what I knew about. And since it's a topic of great interest to people like us, its a fun read.

Add to that you earn a certificate from a real college and...hey it can't hurt the resume!

I probably know more than the instructors, so seems a bit of a waste of money

Pretty cool shipping box.. Seems to be a perfect fit for the UM2. Did you have those made?

All UM2Go:s are delivered in such box.
It is very sturdy, I just put the box in a gym bag together with a few spools of filament and checked it in.
Three flights later including both airports in Bangkok, two car rides and a shuttle bus later is arrived to the destination in perfect condition.
If similar boxes were available for the UM2, I would order one immediately :-)

Didn't even realize it was a Go... Seems it can still fit a lot of tea :)

I like the idea of having people get introduced into the matter of 3D printing before they buy a printer. The fact that you can get a discount on a printer after completing the course makes the offer very appealing to people wanting to get into it.
And it's good business for Ultimaker of course ^^

A while back I told you I had a bed sensor error, and I had to have the black connector at the bottom of the bed resoldered. It worked well for a while, but lately I'd been getting the same error again, when the bed raised before a print. Usually rebooting the printer and just restarting the print worked fine, but it kept happening more often.

So today I had enough of it, and I decided to take out the bed to have another look. Turns out, somehow one of the screw terminals in the black connector on the bed had moved up, so when I reconnected the bed last time I somehow just pushed the cable underneath it, instead of screwing it in place. Took me a good while before I had figured it out today too... But at least everything works fine again now
